With 20 years of industry experience, Darrel works with executives, retirees, high net worth individuals and their families providing ongoing personalized guidance to make sure each client is progressing toward their financial goals. Darrel works with each client to set quantifiable goals, and helps prioritize their needs. He and the group then develop and implement a customized strategy using a wide variety of financial instruments. Darrel received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Darrel resides in Richardson with his wife Debbie, son Kent and daughter Shelby, where they attend the Heights Baptist Church.

Drew Swedlund, CFP®

Drew Swedlund is a graduate of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He has been working in the financial services industry since 2001 helping clients to create and implement personalized wealth management strategies. He has completed the Certificate Program in Financial Planning at SMU and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Drew believes in taking the time to fully understand who each client is and what's most important to them before any recommendations are made.

Drew and his wife Dallas, live in Dallas where they are members of the Highland Park United Methodist Church and he is actively involved as a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.


Amanda Rubalcava
Registered Senior Client Associate

Amanda is a Registered Senior Client Associate who specializes in client service and is the go to person for any type of service request. She has over 25 years experience in the securities industry, 15 of which have been with the Preston Swedlund Group. Amanda provides service to each client by interfacing with them, solving their problems and following through to provide exceptional service. She brings her uncompromising sense of ethics into the office and has built long lasting relationships with clients.

Amanda resides in Desoto, TX. She has 3 sons, Ruben, Adrian and Nicholas and a 2 yr old grandson, Jordan. Ruben and Adrian are currently both active members of the U.S. Marines.
