Our mission as a financial advisory team is to help protect and grow assets, no matter what the economy is doing.
The Reyno-Bertenshaw approach is built on relationships, trust and discipline. The entire team is committed to helping clients achieve their financial objectives and protect the wealth that they have spent a lifetime building. Using the full range of tools, services and specialists available from Merrill Lynch, they develop and implement customized, long-term investment strategies for affluent families, institutions and foundations.
In the area of portfolio management and investment strategies, we help navigate the increased volatility that characterizes today’s markets. The Reyno-Bertenshaw Group has adopted a disciplined, quantitative approach to investment management. Their distinctive, rules-driven approach emphasizes risk management and capital preservation and uses low-cost, highly liquid Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) to create and manage globally diversified portfolios. Focusing on market positioning, rather than market timing, this approach has clearly defined exit and entry strategies that seek to eliminate the emotional responses that can destroy capital. The strategy is both defensive and offensive, as market conditions dictate. It is also more tactical and proactive than the traditional “buy and hold” approach. Based on their experience, analysis and research, the professionals at the Reyno-Bertenshaw Group believe that this systematic, disciplined, prudent approach enables them to most effectively fulfill their mission and meet their clients’ goals.
The Reyno-Bertenshaw Group always puts clients’ needs first and works hard to build strong, multi-generational relationships. Every strategy begins with a thorough assessment of a client’s needs and preferences across issues that include risk tolerances, investment goals, estate planning, education planning, tax strategies, insurance and cash management.
