The Golden Investment Group Team consists of Financial Advisors Patrick Golden and Jason Cox, and Senior Registered Client Associate Molly Angelo. Patrick Golden is First Vice President-Wealth Management with 18 years working with clients in the financial services industry holding Series 7 and 66 Securities Licenses along with Life and Health Insurance licenses. Jason Cox joined Merrill Lynch January 2012 and holds his Series 7 and 66 Securities Licenses along with Life and Health Insurance Licenses. Molly Angelo our Senior Registered Client Associate holds her Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.

Patrick has worked in the financial services industry since 1995, where he began his career with Wheat First Butcher Singer, he moved to Merrill Lynch in 2008 from Smith Barney. He has built his business through adhering to his strong principles and integrity by treating all people with the Golden Rule. Throughout his 18 years in the industry he has worked with high net worth business owners, retirees, professional athletes and entrepreneurs to help them identify their objectives and define a investment strategy to help them reach for their goals. During his tenure in the industry, he has seen many bull and bear markets and these lessons have focused his investment philosophy around the need for diversification to weather the turbulent times and achieve in the good times. Merrill Lynch provides Patrick with all the tools to provide current information to the client and implement the strategy instructions the client prescribes.

Patrick received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. He and his wife Sabrina met in Charlotte 20 years ago and now have 3 daughters, Briana, Savannah and McKenna. They are active members of St. Mark's Parish and participate in Big Brothers Big Sisters, Knights of Columbus, National MS Society, and many other nonprofit organizations. Both are avid cyclists and water sports fans.
Jason Cox started with Merrill Lynch in 2012 as a Financial Advisor assisting high net worth individuals and businesses helping them to define their investment and retirement objectives and design an investment strategy that helps them in their pursuit of their goals. Jason prides himself on building strong individual client relationships through listening to their goals and helping them clarify their long term investment objectives. He then utilizes the vast array of financial services offered by Merrill Lynch to implement the client’s investment strategy in a timely and detailed manner staying in close contact with the client with regular updates on how the strategy is performing.

Jason has compiled an impressive resume of educational achievements from top universities across the country. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University in Oxford, OH graduating in May 1996 majoring in Accountancy and Finance. In May 2003, Jason completed the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Notre Dame focusing on Finance and Entrepreneurship. Lastly, he completed the Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program at the University of Southern of California August 2005
In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer, son Macauley and daughter Audrey. He volunteers his time to help organizations working to find cures for Multiple Sclerosis, which he has lived with for 18 years, and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) which Audrey was diagnosed with in October 2012.
