For 30 years, Dan Magee has offered insightful financial guidance to a select group of clients whose wealth management needs extend beyond the ordinary. Dan actively engages with high-net-worth individuals and multiple generations of wealthy families, as well as with foundations and other nonprofit organizations.
Dan devotes significant time to understanding each client’s financial situation and aspirations. From managing concentrated stock holdings, to helping clients enjoy retirement years they envision, to assisting with wealth transfer to future generations, Dan feels privileged to address areas of clients’ financial lives that matter most to them. He is known for his principled and conservative style in advising clients and cultivating deep, long last relationships.
“I believe in building relationships on each client’s terms – delivering the high level of personalized service that affluent clients expect and deserve,” Dan points out. “My integrated approach also seeks to optimize client wealth on both sides of their balance sheets – and among multiple generations of family members, coordinating our insights with the firm’s banking, insurance and 401(k) specialists – and with clients’ accountants and attorneys. Clients deserve diligence and resourcefulness.”
With retirement years a primary concern for many clients, Dan helps answer questions that can be daunting, such as: How much do I need to retire? How can I make my assets last through retirement? How can I achieve my lifestyle goals? Once he understands clients’ anxieties and objectives, Dan can help them build their legacies, support philanthropic organizations, and work toward developing disciplined strategies with the goals of generating income, tax-efficient wealth transfer, business succession and education funding.
Dan also serves non-profit organizations – helping manage their investments, write investment policy statements, and more. This has led to Dan serving the personal financial needs of board members, as well as special needs families.
